We have eaten at "Tessie's Tavern" on four occasions. The quality of the food at affordable prices exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is an 1890 Victorian listed on The National Register of Historic Homes, and offers unique dining options both inside or on the porch or new patio---complete with a new, wood-burning fireplace. A must for all tastes.
This was such a nice place for dinner. Alll the food is made to order!! We were told this might lengthen our wait but it did not. Really great flavor , freshness, and presentation. All followed up with excellent service. We are definitely looking forward to returning!!

I ordered salmon and it was absolutely amazing! My daughter got mac & cheese and she loved it (but she loves all mac and cheese). My boyfriend ordered ziti...they brought it out and said, here's your lasagne. The pasta dish was neither the best nor the worst. The seating arrangement was a little crowded and the room was loud and echoed. I will try the outdoor seating next time. Also, they have horseshoes and beanbag toss...looks fun.
